Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced, committed and passionate Foil Stamping Die Cutting Operator to join our great team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of printing and operated as a die cutting pressman. The person will be responsible for ensuring the setup of dies for foil stamping and die cutting equipment. The Foil Stamping Die Cutting Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitoring the machine and correcting problems as they occur. The person will be responsible for the quality of the die cutting of finished products. About the Role : In this opportunity as a Foil Stamping Die Cutting Operator , you will: Operate Bobst Foil Stamper or Heidelberg Die Cutter Equipment Efficiently setting up and performing all score/perforate, de cut, emboss, foil stamp and/or combinations of these operations. Makes minor adjustments to machine as needed during production run. Inspects to ensure that product is being manufactured according to specifications. Replenishes supplies as needed (i.e., paper, glue, foil, etc.). Ensures machines are running at or above rate. Performs prescribed preventive inspections and maintenance of equipment. Ensures work instructions and processes in the Quality Management System are being adhered to. Maintains a safe, organized, and clean workstation/environment. Record job information on load tags, timesheets and into our job tracking system. Education/Experience: High school education; or 1-2 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to convert fractions into decimals (metric system to American standard system). Must have ability to read and measure with ruler. Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of or prior experience with manufacturing software.
