Lead Quality Engineer

Job Description: Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr NYL GDH is completely an AWS based tech stack, where we use S3, Athena, Redshift, Redshift spectrum, Redshift stored procedures, Glue ETL, Aurora Postgres, etc. For our other Platform solutions across Dean's team, such as GDE and GCAM, these are primarily Java based. So Java Springbatch, and Java API's, occasionally Mulesoft for proxies, and occasionally Angular for our applications. From a QA standpoint, Selenium and Query Surge are the two tools we use. Our CI/CD platforms are typical with Udeploy, Jenkins, Maven, etc. If we see QE candidates with alternative, emerging technologies such as MABL (something NYL is dabbling in), then I would be very open to interviewing candidates who have more advanced, newer technical skills as this would mean they would bring new ideas to our team. But to see team members with only HPQC where we don't use that here, is not going to get me excited about their resume. The technical knowledge and the innovation is what we are looking for. We are trying to identify some game changer talents for our Lead Quality Engineer position so that we can elevate our practice. Group experience will be preferred. This individual should ensure that the following occurs: Teams focus on test automation. Clear, concise Test Operations reporting that enables leaders to understand test strategy and progress. Someone who understands performance testing and provides governance oversight on those specific test strategies. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect and communicate with me and other leaders at my level.
