Position Summary The Account Executive role at Swank presents an unparalleled opportunity to spearhead exponential growth, harness your exceptional relationship skills, and deliver remarkable service. In this dynamic position, you will manage existing customer and prospect accounts and actively seek out new leads to secure public performance licenses and distribute content. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will prioritize service and customer loyalty efforts, ensuring contract renewals and maximizing upsell opportunities by cultivating strong relationships developed through customer interactions. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including the C-suite, to expedite complex decisions, all while managing and nurturing existing customer accounts and exploring upsell opportunities. This role is pivotal in generating new business ideas in the represented market, integrating our content and technology to meet identified needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with Account Managers on state and/or consortium contract renewals to identify potential upsell opportunities. Actively prospect new customers through solicitiation of existing customer referrals, cold calling/following up on marketing campaigns and participating in trade conferences. Convert prospects into long-term customers using persuasive sales techniques and an in-depth understanding of Swank's various licensing and content distribution options. Lead compelling presentations for existing and potential customers, tailoring content and technical solutions to align with their objectives. Negotiate legal contracts, close the business and serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process until the Account Manager is prepared to provide exceptional service. Identify future state customer needs for Licensing and DVD customers through market research, customer surveys, calling campaigns, and working with the Account Manager. Partner with Marketing to craft impactful sales support materials and value-driven campaigns. Work closely with the Vice President of Distribution Partnerships to find innovative strategies to penetrate the market. Requirements Proven sales and account management experience required. Bachelor's degree required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a customer-focused approach. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create and deliver presentations. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM a plus. Highly motivated, goal oriented and competitive Travel approximately 25%.
