Job DescriptionTrinnex is looking for an Account Executive with related selling experience in technology/software and within the AEC/Water/Wastewater market to join our Business Development team. This position will be focused on selling and promoting Trinnex services and technology to external partner organizations. Trinnex is building next generation tools that integrate sensor/IoT data, models, and geospatial information and machine learning to solve unique engineering and environmental issues. With limited supervision, this individual performs remote sales activities focused on cultivating long-term relationships with outside consultants and related firms to expand Trinnex market penetration. Carries direct responsibility for the quoting and order process for products and services assigned to the Inside Sales team. Account Executive will have sales activities aligned to their specific assigned accounts which will support selling processes for the overall team, which can include "funnel" management, lead qualification and nurturing, opportunity creation, simple presentations, and providing support for renewals and overall customer relationship management. Client InteractionManages inbound leads associated with Trinnex software and services and collaborates with various sales resources where applicable. Can work in conjunction with technical experts on specific applications to line up demonstrations involving capabilities of Trinnex tools. May participate in said demonstrations where applicable. Technical KnowledgeWith a general comprehension of public sector sales cycle, should be quick to understand market dynamics and pick up engineering concepts. CRM ManagementKeeps sales activity logged and prepares associated sales forecasting information within Salesforce. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree•8 years of related experience•Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Domestic and/or international travel may be required. CDM Smith will not be held liable to pay a placement fee.Skills and Abilities•Demonstrated Sales/Business Development success within AEC/Water/Wastewater industry.•Knowledge of the water/wastewater industry and a firm grasp of ongoing and dynamic trends within the space.•Strong knowledge of digital infrastructure market.•Demonstrated ability to build relationships and develop and maintain key client relationships.•Advanced CRM user, preferably with Salesforce.•Experience selling Software-as-a-Service offerings; Quick learner of dynamic software offerings.•Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, while displaying an entrepreneurial attitude.•Ability to deliver results in an environment of change and ambiguity. •Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the proven ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization. •Proven ability to conduct research into target accounts and develop effective and successful prospecting campaigns. •Advanced interpersonal skills including collaboration, conflict management and partnership building across a diverse, global organization. •Advanced strategic thinking ability.Background Check and Drug Testing InformationCDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as "CDM Smith") reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions.
