Job Description Payroll Assistant 2 (6-Month Contract) The Payroll Assistant performs a range of clerical and statistical tasks to prepare payroll data for system input. Responsibilities include reviewing timekeeping records, processing special exception items, and responding to employee inquiries about deductions, calculations, and compensation changes. Additional duties involve compiling payroll records, manually calculating wages for temporary work, bonuses, vacations, and terminations, and maintaining employee records in the HRIS system. The role also includes analyzing data, developing reports, and answering payroll-related phone calls in a call center environment. Key Skills: Strong organizational abilities. Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Qualifications: High School diploma with at least 2 years of related education and/or experience.
