Our work depends on Configuration Management (CM) Specialist/Site Lead - Senior joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).HOW A CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (CM) SPECIALIST - SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTPlan and develop methods and procedures for implementing the sites program, directs and coordinates sites activities, and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of test programConfer with Contractor or Government staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of program.Direct and coordinate personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of program.Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives.Reports to manager for any security, staffing, or resource problemsAddresses operational issues with mission partnersMay draft executive correspondence, provide senior level briefings and be proactive in developing solutionsResponsible for effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted Army baseline(s) standards. Ensures change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board action are implemented in a timely manner. Ensures personnel are trained by conducting workshops and seminars on the proper methodology to maintain a proactive CM program. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
