This position is a terrific opportunity for someone to gain additional experience and make a difference in the lives of our clients.For over 45 forty-five years, our organization has provided mental health and holistic services in northern Manhattan for families, children, adolescents, and other adults including the elderly in a supportive and caring environment. We also have an out-patient and residential substance abuse program as well as a Therapeutic Preschool for 3-5 year olds. JOB DESCRIPTIONTitle of position: NeuropsychologistDescription of Duties and Responsibilities:•Participate in implementation of the agency's Project LAUNCH grant to enhance and expand our clinical response to early childhood mental health and developmental issues, including as appropriate outreach to families, partner or other stakeholder organizations and participation in internal grant activities such as data collection.•Screen referrals for neuropsychological evaluations•Evaluate and treat cognitive and emotional functioning,•Administer tests to diagnose a neurological disorder•Collaborate with other clinicians to create a treatment plan•Provides neuropsychological consultations to the outpatient program•Provides group and individual neurorehabilitation and psychotherapy.Qualifications:•Doctoral degree from an APA accredited program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field.•Current License to practice as a psychologist in NYS required.Travel requirements: •To be discussed.
