Registered Dietitian or RD eligibleSalary Range: $58,000-$70,000Exempt (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position) *CMS 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility- Due to internal Promotion we have an opening for a full time DietitianFull Time 40 hours preferred, but will consider Part Time 20 hours.GENERAL SCOPE: Under the guidance of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, is responsible for the operation and implementation of the Nutrition Care Program based on established objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal in the maintenance of sound inter-departmental relations and the integrating of the dining service department with the facility plan of with the provision of nutrition care throughout the community. EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:Must have 4 year degree in Nutrition or related field.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:.Manages a case load of long term care residents under the supervision of the CNS. This would include but would not be limited to monitoring resident weights, skin, meal intake and overall nutritional status on a minimum of a quarterly basisAssists in providing quality food and an enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and staff,Understands and applies all state and federal guidelines, assuring "inspection ready" status at all times.Assists with department's excellent relations with clients, residents and close working relationships with dining service supervisors, employees and other departments.Responsible for the completion of dietary histories, resident care plans and pertinent charting in medical records including MDS within a timely manner.Provides nutrition information to individual residents, as designated.
