Prelitigation Paralegal (aka Prelitigation Case Manager)This role reports to: Manager Pre-LitigationOffice Location: 110 S 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103Job Type: Full Time Our law office is seeking a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager with experience working on Pennsylvania Personal Injury cases. The ideal candidate must possess 3-8 years of pre-litigation and personal injury experience. Salary based on years of experience.The ideal candidate will be an experienced, diligent, detail-oriented Prelitigation Paralegal (aka Prelitigation Case Manager). An individual with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, who is comfortable working in a multitasking, hands-on, challenging, fast paced role. We are looking for people that can facilitate a high volume of detail-oriented work and is committed to providing Best in Class customer service. Responsibilities:We are seeking a full time Experienced Pre-litigation case manager Ability to manage all Pre-litigation case manager dutiesCaseload of 100-120 personal injury cases from intake until the case goes to litigation (Until the Filing of the Complaint)30 days calls with clients regarding medical care, providers, notating and updating about their current treatment status - Provide excellent customer serviceCapable of independently reviewing cases, conducting investigations to gather necessary information for cases where initial claims are unsuccessful, and establishing No-Fault and Bodily Injury claims as required.Ability to open claims with insurance companiesKnowledge of No-Fault applications, filing of claimsprocedures, deadlinesKnowledge of the processing of lost wage claimsKnowledge of retrieving police reportsKnowledge of personal injury threshold Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Indemnification Corp proceduresAbility to set up property damage claimsAbility to obtain Property DeedsConduct Corporate Business search about premises liability claimsKnowledge of OPRA & FOIL requestsKnowledge of Personal Injury Statutes of Limitations - PAAbility to accurately enter information in the Litify insurance tabs, & provider tabs about medical facilities and insurance info.Obtainingdocumenting outstanding liens: medical liens, worker's compensation liens, etc.Update and maintain client information in the Litify databaseStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Prioritize tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines Qualifications:Experience in Personal InjuryStrong Multitasking and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasksAbility to handle large and complex case loadsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseProficient with WindowsMS Office Applications Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time offSick timeSummer Fridays (Work hours end at 1pm on Fridays during the Summer Season.)Salary is based on the candidate's years of personal injury prelitigation experience.
