Benefits: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401-K with company match Paid Time Off Career Development Bonus Program Responsibilities of the Position Include: Position, align, and fit, parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers. Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences. Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components. Lay out and examine metal stock or work pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met. Remove high spots and cut bevels, using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches. Experience and Education Requirements: Must have completed a prior welding curriculum or 1+ years on the job weld experience. Minimum 1+ years' experience as a Structural Fitter. Must be a US Citizen. Must have High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to read blueprints. Knowledge of materials, welding, and machining Demonstrate strong decision making, mathematical, and analytical skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Must have strong ethical values, professional attitude, and confidentiality.
