Role Summary: This role will partner with the International Head of Global Markets, CEO MUSA, and oversee a team that also supports Capital Markets and Securitized Products. Given the international responsibilities, the candidate will report regionally (NY) to the MD-HR Business Partner Global Corporate & Investment Bank and internationally to the International MD-HR Business Partner, Global Markets, located in London. This is an in-office (4 days weekly) located at our NY Headquarter office. Main Responsibilities: Partner with executive management and senior leaders in workforce planning and strategy, leading the department in establishing human resources management goals and objectives that align with the overall business direction Enable the delivery of HR initiatives to stakeholders, identifying and managing opportunities for workforce development and working across the business to drive the achievement of strategic human capital and business goals Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to identify and design solutions and proposals to respond to current and future employee requirements Ensure the delivery of HR advisory services for all business areas and align HR resources and practices with the strategic business initiatives Actively contribute to and collaborate with regional/ global HR teams to share knowledge and practices and design solutions that will drive HR effectiveness for business leaders/stakeholders Continuously pursue efficiencies and improvements in how services and processes are provided, executed and governed in accordance with global standards Work with senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes that align to strategic imperatives Advise managers in forecasting and planning talent requirements in line with the business strategy Represent HR at business forums and manages relationships between broader HR team and business Partner with teams responsible for talent lifecycle events such as comp reviews, talent and performance reviews, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, etc. Ensure performance management policies and procedures are adhered to Provide guidance regarding HR practices, compliance, laws, regulations and ethics Work with Centers of Excellence (COE) teams in directing HR programs including recruiting, training, development, benefits, compensation, employee relations and communication, coaching and counseling, talent planning and succession, leadership development, performance management, and diversity Lead critical HR initiatives and projects (Performance Management, Leadership Development, Talent Management) in collaboration with leadership Lead organization structure changes and talent integration, as required Partner with Centers of Excellence to establishes best practices across functions to drive continuous improvement Facilitate long-term initiatives aligned with the bank's strategic agenda Hire, develop and retain top talent Manage budget and resource allocation, as required Build a Human Capital Plan aligning business strategy to successful outcomes Responsible for ensuring talent is enabled to succeed Lead projects that define success for HR globally and regionally in addition to ensuring the respective business imperatives are met Will directly manage and be supported by a team of HR Professionals Additionally, this role has dual reporting to global and regional HR leadership Expected Qualifications: •Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable o The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) o Professional in Human Resources - International (PHRi) o Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) o Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) is a plus •Leadership experience of at least 10 years as an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner in the financial services industry or Global Markets/Securities; International experience is preferred •Extensive background in the full range of human resource disciplines, the hiring process, talent lifecycle, annual review process (covering performance and compensation) and succession planning •Highly numerate and comfortable navigating and analyzing data to support HR strategy that serves business needs •Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment/labor laws and current regulations globally •Experience in developing organization-wide HR strategy and policy •Subject matter expert on HR best practices •Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and database management •Demonstrated capability in employee relations •Objectivity in employee management and coaching through complex matters •Significant experience overseeing budgets and resources, as is required •Demonstrates strong leadership •Communicates effectively, with the ability to build networks and work within a matrix structure •Anticipates changing business needs, adjusts priorities accordingly, and allocates necessary resources and budget to achieve objectives •Equips the business to become an effective competitor in an highly dynamic landscape •Considers stakeholder needs and input as well as best practices and insights from industry trends when making strategic decisions •Is flexible, decisive, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within the organization •Demonstrates effective negotiation and influencing skills, comfortable with challenging the status quo •Prioritizes and facilitates a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking •Sets the tone for successful collaboration with other business units and corporate entities •Creates an environment that fosters communication, transparency, and collaboration •Cultivates innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objective •Leads by example, engaging inclusively and with intent The typical base pay range for this role is between $165K - $210K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
