LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client of ours in Pittsburgh, PA. Youll be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities, from invoice processing to payment disbursement, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly. Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement best practices. Assist in month-end closing activities and provide support for audits. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and automation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
