Maintenance Mechanic - Wilcox

Description Join our team as a 2nd or 3rd shift mechanic! Looking for preferred 3-5 years of maintenance mechanic experience. This position exits to prevent unscheduled equipment downtime, to keep equipment in safe and proper working condition, and to repair or schedule repair for equipment that breaks down while in operation. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs P.M. check for production equipment. Performs repairs and maintenance on factory and equipment. Participates in plant wide preventive and corrective actions. Repairs equipment if found to be broken or worn excessively. Maintains replacement parts inventory. Fabricates necessary items to maintain proper safe working order of equipment. Position Requirements Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of 5 years of compacting and sizing press repair and troubleshooting experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Basic machining, welding, fabricating and electrical experience a plus. Individual will be involved in repair and rebuilding of manufacturing equipment, preforming preventive maintenance, and general plant repairs.
