Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Design and Construction team through the rapid growth of Just Salad's restaurants. The primary responsibilities will be assisting with project schedules, overseeing permit and license applications, managing development invoices, utility account set up, and communicating cross-functionally to all internal departments as well as external vendors, consultants, and contractors Reports to: Development Consultant This position is on-site: hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office Responsibilities: Manage Site Folio Project Software for Development Department Set up new projects in software after Real Estate Committee Approval Manage Attributes of each site with specific measurables for comparison purposes Manage Project Directory / Members for each project (outside vendors work on each project) Create Reports such as: Development Schedule, Historical Cost Report, Project Close Out Tracker, Design Attributes Invoice Tracker, Rent Tracker and any other ad hoc reports New Store Insurance Set Up Data Management of our Files Form and Template Updates such as Landlord Workletter Template Help with Project Closeouts Entity / Store # / DBA Formation Prepare and Monitor Vendor delivery schedules Prepare Operations Turnover Package including Warranty contact lists, handoff documents, and utility information sheets. Review, process and track Construction invoices. Record and monitor General Contractor and Vendor Construction payments. Assist with Tenant Allowance applications Set up utility and service upgrades for new store openings. Track and assist in resolving and fielding store warranty issues. Coordinate with the Property Management team for stores that are no longer under warranty, but have LL-related issues. Qualifications: You have: 1 - 3 years' experience working in prior job-related field such as construction, pre-construction project management, store design, or real estate development. Experience with managing multiple construction projects simultaneously preferred; Multi-unit restaurant or retail experience preferred Sitefolio and Visual Lease experience preferred. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Word. Experience in Project Management software preferred Strong organizational and scheduling skills Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously. Ability to communicate well, and work productively with, internal and external departments and disciplines within the fast-casual business landscape Strong work ethic, high degree of professionalism with the ability to work with little supervision, handle multiple tasks in an organized manner, produce quality work and meet strict deadlines Benefits: $75,000 - $105,000/ annual salary plus eligibility for corporate bonus.
