HVAC Maintenance Technician

Part-time HVAC Maintenance Technician for Commercial Properties in Johnson City, TN Seeking candidate who has good skills in multiple areas to start immediately! Proficiency/experience in HVAC maintenance and trouble-shooting, preferably commercial RTU's including quarterly routine preventative maintenance. Commercial refrigeration maintenance is a plus! Experience in light plumbing, electrical and some carpentry skills is recommended. Light construction including demolition may also be required. HVAC certifications required! Job Duties - Repairs, maintenance of commercial tenant HVAC RTU's: HVAC maintenance such as filter changes, coil cleaning and repair evaluation Light electrical Light plumbing Maintenance of inventory of HVAC filters and small parts Must be able to climb ladders and access rooftops Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Desired Qualities: Strong desire to do any job right and in a timely manner and learn new skills within a growing company Be able to follow directions and be able to work as part of a team or individually to accomplish tasks Have good communication skills and have a friendly attitude in dealing with professional tenants and contractors Requirements: Reliable transportation to/from work Valid driver's license with good driving record Must pass a criminal background check Must have acceptable personal hand tools or everyday use - larger tools are provided Must work Monday - Friday day-time hours 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm with some after-hours/weekend on-call requirements Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour "It All Started In A Rambling Kitchen" in 1938, when the original Peerless opened in Downtown Johnson City.
