What Your Day Will Look Like: As the Sr. Payroll Manager, you will collaborate with the Director of Total Rewards to manage payroll processes and systems, to ensuring efficient and accurate payroll administration and compensation programs. You will utilize Deltek Vision ERP and ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with multi-state regulatory requirements, maintaining the organization's relationship with ADP, time and collection systems, and system enhancements. Additionally, you will partner with the Employee Experience team to support the employee life cycle through payroll processes, from onboarding to offboarding, and continuously drive payroll process improvements, leveraging payroll analytics and internal controls to mitigate risks and optimize efficiency. Potential Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 What You'll Do: • Oversee payroll operations for the U.S. and Canada, ensuring accurate data processing, timely payments, post-processing audits, and ongoing payroll process improvements, while implementing risk management strategies and ensuring compliance with multi-state, provincial, and federal payroll regulations. • Manage payroll compliance, audit data feeds, and respond to governmental requests, ensuring that all payroll processes align with current legislation and internal risk management protocols. • Support HR, payroll administrators, and timekeepers by resolving payroll/time-related issues promptly, providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and improve payroll accuracy. • Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to align payroll processes with the employee life cycle, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, and terminations, while ensuring data integrity and process consistency. • Drive process improvements in ADP and Vision systems, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and employee experience, while documenting and maintaining SOPs, ensuring they meet best practice standards and are regularly updated. • Ensure accurate compensation data is captured in ADP and Vision systems for compensation cycles and compliance with evolving laws, using payroll analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. • Lead multi-step monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll processes, ensuring tax filings, reconciliation, and compliance with regulations, while proactively identifying and addressing risks. • Manage and coach the payroll team, implement best practices, develop KPIs, and create tools for training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth • Stay current on U.S. and Canadian payroll and payroll tax laws and update processes as needed, ensuring proactive compliance with new legislation and regulatory changes. • Oversee and ensure compliance with certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting. What You'll Need: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience. with a demonstrated ability to manage complex payroll operations and compliance. • 10+ years in payroll, accounting, or finance, with 4+ years in a supervisory role, leading payroll teams, and developing process optimization strategies. • Expertise in process development and change management, with a strong understanding of payroll data analysis and reporting. • Three years with ADP services and HCM platforms, supporting organizations with 3,000+ employees, including overseeing system integrations and ensuring scalability. • Experience with prevailing wage rate compliance, certified payroll, and multi-state regulations, with a focus on ensuring risk mitigation and maintaining compliance with evolving standards. • Experience collaborating with HR partners to support payroll across the employee life cycle, providing strategic input to improve employee experience and streamline payroll operations. • International payroll vendor experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to manage multi-country payroll processes and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
