Job Description Maintenance electricians maintain facility electrical grid to include repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect and adjust complex electrical circuits and controls to provide optimal performance. Responsible for reliable power to equipment. Duties/Activities Required by Job Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for industrial equipment, with a strong focus of up to 480V 3 Phase power to include but limited to sensors, actuators, transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, electric eyes, conduit systems, switches, and defective wiring. Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs. Siemens and Allen Bradley. Inspects, diagnoses, and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements, and upgrades. Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness. Be able to correctly log characteristics of the failure to help determine the root cause of the failure. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations and repairs. Installing conduit and wiring for equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. Collaborating with our engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into our equipment. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues proactively. Diagnosing electrical faults and malfunctions and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Adhering to strict safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. Educations/Experience Requirements Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). 1-5 years of related experience, protein preferred. Licensure is a plus but not a requirement. Will consider Trade School Grads who have completed an Apprenticeship program or a combination of education and experience. Proficiency in electrical skills: PLC programing, electrical circuits, schematics, servo motors, and familiarity with voltage from 480/220 3 PH wiring. Basic computer skills and the ability to work independently. Perform General Physical Activities requiring considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Able and willing to lift between 40 - 60lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work in extreme cold/hot environments. Able to perform strenuous work in wet/damp environments.
