We are hiring for an Associate Client Specialist to join our Oncology Sales team! The role will play a key role in ensuring patients adherence to the prescribed test cadence with a focus on improving patient outcomes. The role requires identifying areas of improvement in clinical workflows, test fulfillment, internal systems and processes. In addition, it requires working closely with health care providers, clinical administrative staff, sales, logistics and internal team members to address the challenges identified. LOCATION: The territory is Southern Alabama, covering areas south of Birmingham, excluding Tuscaloosa and Auburn. It also extends slightly into the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the Florida Panhandle. Primary Responsibilities: Build relationships with key personnel at Oncology accounts to facilitate workflow improvements as well as ensure smooth operations of blood draw and order execution. This requires being in the field for the majority of your workweek to fully understand the clinic's operations and clinic phlebotomy/lab workflows. Analyze and monitor patient testing to ensure that patients remain on the protocol prescribed by the Oncologist. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end patient process at the clinic, from scheduling to the completion of blood draws, ensuring that the experience is efficient and seamless. Document and streamline clinic workflows to enhance efficiency and patient experience, ensuring all processes are clearly understood and followed Solve challenges that arise related to fulfilling test orders. This can include but not limited to, EMR challenges, Natera systems or operations issues or Phlebotomy limitations Utilize and maintain reports of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient retention and fulfilled order volume Navigate dashboards and internal tools to identify patients and track status of orders, patient results, and overall patient journeys Be a key team player within the sales organization who can partner with internal stakeholders, such as sales reps, patient coordinators, territory managers, etc. to achieve the best outcomes for the patient and the provider Educate providers on the tools and resources that Natera provides to facilitate test order management Respect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial information of patients and the company Practice and adhere to all company policies and regulations Follow Compliance procedures and participates in all relevant Compliance training Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's degree with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience Medical assistant or nursing background is a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical support/clinical logistics, or caregiver experience such as OCN or other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Thrives in ambiguous environments Exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, and results oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically Must act with a sense of urgency Have a strong desire to work in a fast-pace environment and must work independently with an internal drive to be successful Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers Effective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail Fluent in understanding data spreadsheets and technologies although the Patient Retention Specialists will continue to lead patient identification and vetting Demonstrated ability to quickly learn software and reporting systems Physical Demands & Work Environment: Duties are typically performed in a medical office or hospital setting. This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material. Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times. 25-50% travel required The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
