LB Foster is looking for a Full Stack Developer who will be involved in all aspects of the development process and product life cycle, assisting with architecting our web-based solutions to create and maintain a high availability system. As some of our platforms are transitioning from Azure-hosted Windows Servers to Azure native services, you should be comfortable developing for both environments. Our technology stack is predominantly Microsoft-focused: .NET, Azure, MS SQL, Windows Servers, and Azure DEVOPS. With prior experience with SCRUM methodology, you will participate in appropriate ceremonies, and collaborate with team members to deliver work packages into testing and production. The ideal candidate will have a strong front-end and back-end development background with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will be comfortable with big-data processing, storage, and optimization at scale. You must have a high attention to detail and accuracy with a test-driven development approach to your work. During your day , you will: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using .NET technologies. Development and implementation of front-end and back-end components. Write clean, maintainable code that meets industry standards and best practices. Attend code reviews and other Agile ceremonies. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the .NET ecosystem. All other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION 4+ Years of proven Full Stack Developer experience, or similar role, required. Degree in Information Technology or other related field, preferred. Experience with designing and developing applications using .NET development platform (C#, ), .Net Core Experience writing SQL queries, Stored procedures and manipulating databases etc Experience developing enterprise, scalable web applications. Strong knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes Experience with Web Services Development Required Technical Skills C# (.net 4.8+), , MVC, MVVM, Development on Azure IaaS resources T-SQL, MS SQL Administration and optimal database design N-Tier & Microservice Architecture, RESTful API's JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3 Agile / SCRUM DEVOPS (Microsoft Azure), GIT Preferred Technical Skills Object Oriented Programming Unit testing SOLID principles Design patterns GDPR appreciation In return, our culture reflects our passion for integrity, innovation, accountability and safety.
