This Opportunity FPA is currently searching for a full-time Senior Staff Engineer- Electrical at our Headquarters in Wall Township, NJ . As a member of FPA's Electrical Department, you will be part of a dynamic team of industry professionals, operating in a fast-paced, competitive environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing technical leadership, innovation, and expertise in electrical engineering projects. As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the successful delivery of diverse projects in various industries. This position reports directly to the Director of Electrical. Core Responsibilities Experience or proficiency in the utilization of AutoCAD is preferred but not required. Revit BIM modeling experience is preferred but not required. Strong written and spoken communication skills. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability. Ability to work in a team environment or individually. Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and pass a background check. BSEE from an accredited college or university. 6 years minimum experience in the design of Electrical systems. Ability to manage MEP projects is a plus. Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus. Required Qualifications A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Knowledge of electrical and building codes and standards, including National Electrical NEC, NFPA-72, Energy Code, and International Building Code (IBC) Experience with fire alarm system design, lighting design, lighting control and building low voltage systems requirements Proficient and accurate in all areas of AutoCAD Experience with Revit MEP is preferred but not required Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design Sincere commitment to learning new skills and accepting new responsibilities EIT registration is preferred but not required Compensation and Benefits As a valued member of our team, we provide you with a flexible benefits package that reflects our respect for your workplace contributions, professional goals, and personal priorities.
