About the job Healthcare Associate or Counsel Location: Los Angeles, CA Industry: Legal Services Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Healthcare Practice Group in our Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognized health care practice, managing health care issues for clients across the country. With over 80 attorneys practicing health care law in 13 offices, we work with a wide range of clients including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, accountable care organizations, private equity funds, long-term care facilities, IPAs, medical groups, and other providers. Responsibilities: Provide regulatory and compliance advice on California health care law, focusing on fraud and abuse issues, reimbursement disputes, investigations, and business transactions. Work on joint ventures and private equity investments within the healthcare sector. Handle managed care and life sciences transactions. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective compliance programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations. Qualifications: At least six years of experience in California health care regulatory and compliance matters. Experience with managed care and/or life sciences transactions. Strong academic credentials. Superb judgment and communication skills. Commitment to providing excellent client services. Salary: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $325,000 to $350,000, in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws. In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on factors such as work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications.
