Moving - Storage Warehouse Manager

Liberty Moving & Storage, the largest agent for Mayflower and United Van Lines in the tri-state area, is seeking a full-time Moving - Storage Warehouse Manager for our growing team in Wayne, NJ. Flexibility is important, as work hours may vary. You must also be available to work weekends or late hours when business needs arise. As a Moving - Storage Warehouse Manager, you will manage inventory, ensure safety compliance, and oversee fleet and equipment maintenance. You will spend 70% of your time working hands-on in the warehouse and 30% in the office managing scheduling, planning, and dispatching. You will work closely with the national safety department to maintain DOT compliance and will lead your team by example. As a hands-on manager, you will help ensure that operational costs are controlled and that our facility runs smoothly and efficiently. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A MOVING - STORAGE WAREHOUSE MANAGER 1+ year(s) of experience as a Sr. Warehouse Manager OR 3+ years as a Warehouse Manager Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Experience as a hands-on manager is preferred. The ability to operate forklifts, preferably a reach truck or cherry picker, is also ideal!
