Title: Business Development and Marketing Manager Location: Downtown, New York (HYBRID) Salary: $120k - $150k Growing Law Firm is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager to join their team! RESPONSIBILITIES Event Management and Promotion Plan and coordinate firm events, including logistics, invitations, and RSVPs for conferences, dinners, and holiday parties. Update the events calendar and manage promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency across all events. Initiate RFPs for event vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships. Public Relations and Media Management Develop and maintain a dynamic editorial calendar for all media outreach activities. Craft and distribute engaging content such as press releases and articles highlighting firm achievements. Monitor media mentions and manage media relationships, ensuring positive firm representation in the press. Rankings and Directory Submissions Manage legal directory submissions to improve the firm's rankings and market branding. Coordinate with attorneys to ensure accuracy in submissions and leverage major platforms like Chambers, Legal 500, and Law360. Website and Digital Content Management Regularly update the firm's website with fresh content, including attorney bios, news updates, and job postings. Implement SEO best practices and maintain website analytics to track engagement and improve visitor experience. Social Media Strategy and Engagement Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with the firm's branding and business goals. Create and schedule content across platforms, track engagement metrics, and adjust strategies based on performance data. Graphic Design and Visual Content Creation Design high-quality visual content for digital and print media, maintaining consistency with the firm's brand guidelines. Manage projects from concept through completion, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Email Marketing Oversee the CRM system to ensure effective communication and engagement with clients. Design and distribute targeted email campaigns, track performance, and adjust strategies based on analytics. Internal Communications Manage internal communications, ensuring employees are informed and engaged with firm news and updates. Branding and Rebranding Initiatives Review and refresh the firm's branding strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives across all platforms. Client Relations and Business Development Lead efforts to strengthen existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities through strategic research and targeted communication. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, JD, or advanced Marketing degree preferred. Member of the LMA preferred. Proven experience in marketing and business development within a legal or professional services environment. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management.
