Accounting Clerk Job Responsibilities : As an Accounting Clerk, you will be joining a dynamic team committed to excellence in financial management. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and generating detailed reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: - Perform accurate data entry to maintain financial records. - Update and manage invoices, receipts, and financial documentation. - Track and reconcile bank deposits, transfers, and financial accounts. - Develop detailed financial reports to support decision-making. - Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance processes. - Utilize accounting software to manage and track financial transactions. - Apply knowledge of federal contracts in accounting practices. - Leverage an accounting background and bookkeeping expertise to maintain accurate records. - Analyze financial data with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to create and manage financial documents. Job Requirements Requirements: - 1+ years of experience in accounting - Experience working in federal contracting required - Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred - Experience with FAR approved accounting systems, Procas preferred
