Job Title: Aerospace WelderPosition Type: Full-timeExperience Level: Mid-levelExpertise:3+ years of experience in an aerospace environmentAbility to pass welding tests for aircraft welding certificationsGood mathematical skillsKnowledge/practical experience in aerospace environmentsAbility to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documentsYour Challenge:Perform all types of TIG welding to repair/replace damaged areas and cracks on aircraft parts and fixtures.Perform TIG welding operations on aircraft components to meet NDT specifications and ensure efficient flow of work to meet production schedules and demands.Perform TIG welding operations on titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and Nickel alloy parts, following standardized working procedures and parameters.Work with Engineering to develop programs, determine new methods, develop parameters, and determine material type for new or modified products. Assist with developing new tooling spect weld for bead size and compliance with other specifications. Blend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is met. Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperwork.Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machines.Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAdditional Requirements:This position is a safety-sensitive position.
