WHAT YOU (AND WE ALL) DO HERE: The Group Creative Director (GCD) works in partnership with a Group Account Director, Strategy Director and Group Program Manager to oversee the creation of work, successful completion of contracts and continued growth of a specific group of clients. Achieving this requires leading, growing and inspiring a team of Creative Directors to deliver the highest caliber of creative work while also delivering on our business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Day to Day Oversee the creative work and output for assigned group, ensuring all work is meeting or exceeding our standard of quality (Standards, Integrity, Originality, & Effectiveness) Build and Mentor the creative staff needed to execute and deliver our product, specifically CDs and ACDs Conduct six-month check-ins and annual formal reviews for direct reports Consult ECDs on recommendations based on creative staff performance, e.g., promotions or Performance Improvement Plans Help Build, Manage and Grow Client Relationships Ensure client management best practices through proactive communication with your team and the client Ensure Process Adherence (documentation, feedback times, revisions, legal, etc) Document and refine agency workflow process Identify Solutions to Help Drive Client Business Push the work to be category-defying and industry-leading whenever possible Stay Current on Client & Industry Trends (Advertising, Higher Ed, Fundraising, etc.) Operational & Financial Review and approval of proposal estimates, work scopes and creative briefs Work with Project Managers to recommend and assign new work within their group Manage the use of outside vendors, 3rd parties, and freelancers when needed Help oversee that client contracts are hitting their contract burn pace, setting targets and directing teams to problem areas Agency Promotion Actively identify opportunities to increase 160's exposure Thought Leadership/Conferences/Case Studies/Whitepapers Merchandise value of agency via client results and ROI Look for opportunities for Award submissions and recognition Help identify and develop content for our social channels and Agency blog Reporting Reports To ECD Reporting and Communication Responsible for bi-monthly reporting of active client work Responsible for monthly reporting of group's overall book of business Direct Reports CDs/ACDs How we work: Endeavor is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business.
