This role plays a crucial part in the production of high-quality eyeglasses, camera lenses, and various optical devices. This role ensures our commitment to quality throughout all its work. This position requires a keen attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Inspect post-production eyeglass orders for defects, scratches, or imperfections. Assemble eye glass orders; perform quality control procedures for all customer orders. Clean lenses thoroughly using specialized cleaning solutions. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and consumables required for the AR prep process. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, especially those related to the handling of chemicals and equipment. Comply with industry regulations and company policies regarding the use of protective gear and safety procedures. Other jobs and duties as assigned. Requirements Experience in optometry or manufacturing ideal but not required. Familiarity with optical coatings or vacuum chamber equipment is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work Monday through Friday, typically 8am - 5pm Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and bend, twist and crouch as needed. Frequent reaching and use of step stool. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Committed to collaboration and teamwork. Interest in cross training in other departments and advancing career
