Overview Lupin is comprised of a fast growing, innovative and robust team of manufacturing, Research and Development and commercial divisions. Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women's health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of Fifteen commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities The Sr. Manager of Marketing - US Generics is an integral part of Lupin's Rx Generics division and oversees activities and operations related to inline products, new product launches, and various marketing programs/initiatives. The Sr. Manager will assist in developing and implementing integrated launch plans by preparing for and being a key member of the Commercialization meetings and working with team members to coordinate launches in terms of timing and marketing efforts. The position will also analyze post launch activity, develop and report on key metrics related to launches and other high profile products, which could include sub-rate, market share and volume trends. The position may participate in customer meetings and could develop presentations in conjunction with Sales department. The Sr. Manager of Marketing will also stay on top of industry trends and develops reporting, dashboards and analytics to communicate internally with the overall team and senior leadership. Works closely with the Sales and Marketing team to support Rx Generics strategy to achieve sales objectives (market share, sales and margin) which correlates to successful product launches, increases market penetration and profitability on the new and inline product portfolio. Provides market intelligence and insight to establish strategic and tactical marketing plans. Develops programs to differentiate Lupin Pharmaceuticals Generics from the competition. Establishes strategy and implements activities for generic product launches to meet market share, volume and revenue objectives. Key marketing team member for strategic initiatives, which could include REMS, development of Institutional Marketing materials, Specialty Pharmacy among other initiatives and projects. Establishes and maintains a network of secondary and primary research information in support of planned Generic products to develop product launch plans and strategies. Monitors Generic competitors' business and launch activities. Maintains a close working relationships with his/her peers to devise and execute an integrated commercial strategy. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current generic market landscape for all products in the portfolio. Lead continuous improvement efforts across the department. Creation and production of department specific Reporting/Analytics/Dashboards Qualifications Qualification Requirements BA/BS degree in Science, Business or Marketing (MS in Marketing or MBA preferred). A well rounded professional with 10+ years' experience in the Generic Rx pharmaceutical industry to include 2 or more years of leadership in an organization of similar or greater complexity and revenue size. Strong leadership skills, high energy, and a passionate champion for the business with an ability to quickly establish credibility throughout the organization. Strong analytical skills, prior experience working with forecasts, analyzing market research results to turn data into actionable insights, and a strong focus on business analytics as a means to improve and grow the business. Excellent organizational and communication skills and an ability to work with diverse internal and external constituents. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple short- and long-term projects, while meeting all deadlines. Strong ability to identify/anticipate opportunities, challenges and road blocks, while maintaining a solutions-focused approach and develops plans accordingly. Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and marketing principles. Familiarity with regulatory framework for pharmaceutical products is desirable. Working knowledge of competitive intelligence sources such as IQVIA, IPD Analytics, PriceRx, Analysource (among others) and company financial filings etc. for commercial assessment purposes. Proficiency in computer technology including the Microsoft suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams). Experience with data analytics software such as Tableau, Qlike and/or Power BI is desirable but not required. Highly skilled in all forms of communication (i.e. oral, written, presentation) at team, peer and executive levels. Lupin is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
