Job Summary: Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Administrator to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of quality across the organization. Additionally, this role will provide essential administrative support to the QA team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance programs and procedures. Perform regular audits and inspections of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Coordinate and document corrective actions in response to quality issues. Maintain and organize quality records, including test results, inspections, and audits. Provide administrative support to the QA team, including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and tracking action items. Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and practices. Support training initiatives related to quality assurance for staff at all levels. Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the food or beverage industry. Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards. Experience with statistical analysis and quality improvement tools.
