Maintenance Electrician

Electrician Electro Maintenance Mechanic Maintenance Electrician Our client located is currently looking to fill 2 Electrician roles at their facility. With sites all over the world they are a global leader and their products can be found everywhere. The role is designed to support the industrial manufacturing plant and work as a team with 2 Mechanics. Major Functions: Responsible for the safe troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 2. Follow job specific Work Instructions which pertain to the job assignment. 3. Analyze and interpret wiring diagrams, drawings, sketches, specifications, etc., relative to assigned task. 4. Receive and interpret instructions, work orders, etc. 5. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs and adjustments using the necessary test equipment, instruments and tools of the trade. 6. Overhaul and repair all electrical equipment. Replace and repair component parts to maintain and establish operational status of equipment. 7. Install new system, modify existing electrical systems, equipment and devices working from drawings, sketches and verbal instructions. 8. Maintain a safe, clean work area. 9. Perform work in accordance with electrical codes, specifications and safe practices. 10. Perform other related duties as required, such as transporting tools and equipment to work areas. 11. Clean and properly stores tools, etc., reporting short supplies, equipment, etc. 12. Erect scaffolding and rigging as necessary. 13. Ability to troubleshoot PLC is extremely helpful Job Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Experience, Background, and Education): 1. High School diploma or GED. 2. Associate degree in industrial maintenance or journeyman status is preferred. 3. 3-5 years of previous experience in an industrial setting is preferred. 4. Experience using different types of electrical testing equipment 5. Experience with high voltage - 480V and higher 5. Ability to operate mobile industrial equipment and pass required Company training. 6. Ability to work from boom lifts and experience with overhead cranes is extremely helpful 7. Ability to work overtime on short notice is required.
