To Apply for this Job Click Here Position Overview: The Quality Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of the hospital's quality assurance and improvement programs. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, enhancing patient care quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Programs: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs and initiatives that align with hospital goals and regulatory requirements. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze clinical data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and assess performance metrics. Prepare reports for leadership, regulatory bodies, and accreditation organizations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the hospital complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including those set by The Joint Commission and other accrediting bodies. Training and Education: Provide training and support to staff on quality improvement practices and methodologies. Facilitate workshops and educational sessions to promote quality awareness. Patient Safety Initiatives: Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, including root cause analyses, incident reporting systems, and preventive measures. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to develop quality improvement projects and ensure effective implementation. Performance Improvement: Utilize quality improvement tools and methodologies (such as PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma) to drive performance improvements and enhance patient outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between hospital leadership, staff, and external stakeholders regarding quality and safety issues. Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the quality department budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare quality management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable. Certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent certification preferred. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in data analysis software. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and patient safety standards. Work Environment: This position will primarily be based in an office setting within the hospital, with regular interaction with clinical and administrative staff.
