DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Electrician 1, you will utilize your skills and knowledge to maintain, repair, and install various types of electrical equipment, including appliances, elevators, and telecommunications systems. You will work alongside other electricians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment, establish maintenance goals and objectives, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week) Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (commonwealth title); or Four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
