BUS TECHNICIAN Applicant Pool

Qualified applicant must have HS Diploma or GED. It is preferred that the applicant have at least (3) years of previous school bus or medium/heavy truck experience including air brakes, diesel engines, and PM inspections. Must be able to obtain a CDL, Class B with passenger endorsement. It is preferred that applicant have Cummins or Cat Mid-Range engine diagnostic and repair knowledge. Applicant needs experience in mechanical and electrical areas of engine repair and overhaul. Needs understanding of Cummins In-site and CAT ET software for engine diagnostic processes. Applicant must be willing to become ASE Master Certified. This is a 260-day (12 months) position with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay rate will be determined by experience and placement on Grade 8 (Non-ASE certified) or Grade 12 (ASE certified) on the Hourly Support Salary Schedule. Starting rate of pay will be no less than $17.49 per hour. Be sure to attach your resume, transcripts, and certificates (if applicable).
