Who We Are Looking For The Manager, Accounting at Clutch will own, manage, perform, and continuously improve key financial accounting and accounting operations functions across the company. This role is pivotal in driving core accounting and business processes with a high degree of autonomy, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a self-driven passion for continuous improvement. Responsibilities Own the timely and accurate monthly preparation, processing, and reporting of key accounting functions across multiple financial, operational, and reporting workstreams. Independently run monthly and quarterly financial close of books. Perform daily and weekly accounting tasks related to processing accounts payables and receivables, treasury, payroll, etc. Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Proactively seek information, anticipate nuanced issues, identify gaps and escalate them with actionable recommendations, considering the broader organizational context. Build and maintain relationships with Revenue, Operations, People, and Product team members to proactively identify and align on cross-functional items and related accounting considerations. Build a high level of credibility with partners and stakeholders, including across the executive leadership team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. Ability to work independently in highly complex, ambiguous, or challenging areas with minimal direction. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks Online, NetSuite, Stripe, etc. Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to results. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address nuanced issues. High level of integrity and credibility. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement. Salary at Clutch is determined based on factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, and market. For this position, we expect a base salary range between $100,000 and $120,000.
