We are seeking a self-starter, detail-oriented manager who delivers results. In this role, expectations are high with regards to possessing outstanding communication, collaboration and influencing skills. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, you will hold a key role within the Corporate Accounting team and have responsibility for a diverse range of accounting, finance, and compliance duties. What you'll be doing: Execute accounting processes and activities across the organization to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting, internal policies and external audits Review journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring high degree of accuracy Own accounting processes of leases, FX, intercompany and fixed assets Leading and coordinating flux analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financials Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support their quarterly review and annual audit procedures. Partner with International accounting, FP&A, Technical Accounting, Finance Systems and other cross-functional teams to develop, support, and improve the systems, policies, and procedures necessary to drive efficiency and provide meaningful financial data. Maintain a strong internal control environment, updating the design and scope of controls as the business evolves to maintain the integrity of financial reporting. Recommend and drive improvements with respect to business processes and financial reporting Possess a deep understanding of ERP systems including sub-modules, including the development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation and regularly interact with business owners and management on accounting matters Develop and mentor accounting staff to build their professional career and maximize potential Experience you'll need: Bachelors degree in Accounting or other related field required 6 years accounting and finance experience, including experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or a large public company. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in industry accounting with a public company. CPA is a preferred, active or inactive Solid technical knowledge of GAAP / SEC accounting and reporting requirements, especially ASC 842 - Leases Proven experience in optimizing Accounting & Finance processes, as well as experience with scaling and automation of processes Prior significant experience with SOX controls, documentation & processes Experience with delegating tasks, open to direction and collaboration, and commitment to getting the job done Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work in a dynamic accounting department, successfully juggling multiple projects and deliverables Strong managerial, planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills Netsuite experience is required. Blackline and Coupa experience is a plus. This role will be expected to work Monday through Wednesday in office. Candidates should be willing to flex for overtime to complete monthly and quarterly close.
