Job Summary The Regional Marketing & Communications Director is a leader in driving strategic initiatives for Marketing, Communications and Growth for Vandalia North (Mon Health System & Davis Health System brands). The person in this role will direct the overall marketing and branding strategy for Vandalia North and will work in collaboration with the President & CEO of Mon Health System, EVP Vandalia North, ensuring alignment with the goals and strategies of Vandalia North. The person will coordinate with the VH ACMO and CMO to ensure brand consistency across all channels. The Director is responsible for internal and external communications for Vandalia North and will lead a team to execute integrated marketing campaigns, optimizing performance through data-driven insights. Responsibilities The job scope includes achieving goals related to: • Overall growth of Vandalia North market share and service line/business unit volume; • Advancing System and business unit-specific brand awareness, image and loyalty goals; • Advancing Vandalia North physician referral preference; • Advancing Vandalia North consumer choice preference; • Advancing brand engagement among internal Vandalia North audiences; • Alignment and oversight of marketing and community engagement for all System business units; • Alignment and oversight of all System business unit marketing and community engagement budgeting and external vendors; • Development and reporting of all growth, marketing and community engagement data and ROI performance measurement and reporting for the north; Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum of ten years' experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a healthcare organization. Proven skillset in developing and executing branding and campaign strategies to drive market share as evidenced by measurable results. Leadership experience is preferred Must have experience in social media campaigns; writing and editing expertise; strong understanding of digital content and distribution channels; comfort and ability to present the organization's "story" in public settings; understanding of precision target marketing techniques, tactics, and understanding and capabilities in compelling storytelling design, layout, keyword and search positioning; capable in using storytelling tools such as Word; PowerPoint; Excel; CRM; content management systems; digital/social, graphic design and video production programs, such as the Adobe suite of creative products; knowledge and comfort with content production and access tools such as computers, tablets, smartphones, digital still cameras, video cameras. Must have proven skills in developing and managing budgets and cost-management. Education Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration and/or Communications.
