Job Summary This role is pivotal in working with the Director Marketing, Digital and Generative AI to develop and execute a comprehensive digital and social media strategy that aligns with the organization's overall strategy. This role will introduce creative approaches to apply unique and innovative digital strategies, unlocking business value for our numerous partners. Collaborates closely with individual stakeholders and larger Marketing teams to identify and develop digital and social media marketing strategies that support their initiatives. Partner with leaders across our Commercial Lines, Personal, Excess & Surplus lines and other business units to identify key digital and social media needs, scope and prioritize efforts, and effective socialize actionable learnings across the organization. Remain current with advanced and innovative digital and social media trends, technologies and methods that will build on our currently established foundational initiatives. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities Advance the digital and social media infrastructure by overseeing platforms, ensuring efficient and quality execution, proactively recommending enhancements to our current capabilities to strengthen Selective's position in the marketplace, deepen our insights, and provide more actionable outputs. Collaborate with and manage agency partners to strategically apply digital marketing strategies and execute campaigns that align with and support the goals and objectives of our business partners. Independently develop relationships with business partners internal to, and outside of the larger Marketing team to identify, prioritize, and schedule digital and social media campaigns aligned with the teams' strategy and delivering exceptional results. Effectively communicate and present insights and implications of digital and social media to business leaders across the organization in a concise and professional manner. Challenge the status quo and tackle complex business challenges to introduce new solutions or methods related to exploring new to Selective strategies and platforms, further leveraging existing capabilities, integrating a variety of channels throughout the larger Marketing organization. Partner with Marketing, Experience, Innovation and Strategy (MXIS) teams to integrate digital and social media into Customer Experience (CX), Design, User Experience (UX), Marketing and Strategy related initiatives. Collaborate with the Director to integrate large-scale digital and social projects with ongoing initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations to our leadership and business partners. Partner with technology teams including Business Intelligence (BI), Advanced Analytics and Information Technology (IT) to identify and develop methods for tracking digital and social media efforts, linking them to quantitative and/or qualitative results for senior management and key performance indicators. Manage external vendors and platforms, ensuring efficient utilization of budget, advancing our capabilities, and delivering quality insights. Must be able to drive an automobile for business travel. Car travel represents approximately 5% of employee's time and requires a valid driver's license. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business preferred. Certifications in digital media, social media, or related area plus. 6+ years working in a digital role on either the vendor or corporate side. Insurance industry experience a plus. Expertise in digital and social media platforms and technology: LiveRamp, Programmatic Advertising platforms, social channels, Google Marketing Platform (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tag Manager), Hootsuite or comparable platform. Campaign Management: Expert level experience in designing full funnel multichannel digital and social media campaigns including working knowledge of campaigning platforms such as Eloqua. Campaign Data Management: Experienced in utilizing data for the development and targeted execution and delivery of robust digital marketing campaign Generative AI: proven experience in utilizing AI to expedite work and deliveries Communication and Project Management: ability to clearly communicate challenges, goals, and manage stakeholders. Strong skills in utilizing Microsoft suite of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations, demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and forge strong and effective relationships with business partners. Must have valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile. Experience in applying Personalization to Digital Marketing Campaigns. Ability to work with internal partners (gain buy in, overcome objections, etc.) Specifically, from the IT department and Legal departments. Additional details about our total rewards package will be provided during the recruiting process The expected starting salary range for this role is $116,000-$167,000. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint.
