Description: Audi Albany is seeking a Service Manager focused in customer Satisfaction and service department profitability while recognizing employee satisfaction is key to department success. The Service Manager is responsible for working with other department managers to establish sales and productivity objectives, and to forecast future performance. The Service Department's highest priorities are to satisfy customers and employees while maintain department profitability. The primary responsibilities of the Service Manager include: • Supervise and manage our Audi Service Department. • Maintain smooth and effective working relationships with other dealership departments; • Establish and maintain a positive and comfortable working environment in the Service Department; • Establish financial and operational objectives (annual and monthly forecasts); • Recruit, select and train Service Department personnel • Conduct formal performance evaluations (appraisals) at least annually. Coach employees who are having performance issues. • Develop, implement and evaluate plans to increase department revenue and profits • Manage all Service Department training needs and compliance to State and local regulations • Perform other duties as assigned- including but not limited building maintenance, safety, and cleanliness. Requirements: This position requires: • Supervisory skills (good communication, coaching, and counseling skills) • Administrative skills • Positive interpersonal communication skills, both inside and outside the company. • Ability to interpret, and properly evaluate R.O.'s, employee and department efficiency, productivity, and performance reports • Basic business math skills Previous experience managing a service department for an auto dealership.
