Join our dynamic cross-functional team to provide technical support and drive manufacturing process improvements. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing and documenting manufacturing processes that enhance labor efficiency and quality, reduce work in-process, scrap, and overall manufacturing costs. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with a cross-functional team to provide technical support for manufacturing process improvements. Develop and document manufacturing processes that boost labor efficiency and quality, while reducing work in-process, scrap, and overall manufacturing costs. Provide technical support to establish manufacturing methods that enhance processes and product flow. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement. Drive KPI (Key Process Indicators) improvements focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost (SQDC) and meet customer demand at the department level. Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring schedules are defined and met, and prioritize work to meet commitments. Create and control manufacturing instructions and implement engineering changes on the production floor. Utilize manufacturing data to implement process changes. Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) evaluations on new products. Generate Standard Operating Procedures and establish scheduled maintenance for machines and equipment. Justify costs for new equipment and tooling. Evaluate and disposition non-conforming material according to Quality Procedures. Define criteria for operator qualification checklists for processes and machines. Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, systems, engineering, or other relevant discipline. 2-5 years of experience. Excellent communication both written and verbal. Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, Team Members and vendors. Strong skills in grammar and proofreading. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to collect data, solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to maintain a professional and positive image in any situation using good judgment. Ability to use ERP and oExffice software, including Word processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Slide Presentations, Internet browsers, E-mail, and business systems software. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques. Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 6-month time span. Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Employee training.
