Junior Rigging Esitmator

Job Description The Junior Estimator will report to and work with the Head of Sales & Senior Estimator in identifying, researching, organizing, and preparing bid opportunities for all related aspects of the company's manufacturing capabilities. Qualified individuals should be responsible, have robust communication skills, strong attention to detail, comprehension and interpretation skills related to construction documentation, fundamental working knowledge of theatrical rigging systems and drapery construction techniques, and willingness to learn. Duties will include but are not limited to: • Research publicly available bid opportunities through multiple methods • Use customer supplied design drawings to generate budgets • Interface w/ various departments (project managers, fabrication, field staff, engineers, and clients) • Become 100% educated on all of products and services Requirements • Proficient with MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and the Internet Search Engines • Strong attention to detail and organization skills • Ability to multitask • Ability to read and interpret design documents. and specifications • Ability to write routine reports for corresponding employees of organization. • Time management
