Summary This position is responsible for assessing and correcting issues, if necessary, on warranty inspections. The position assumes general responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable job-site quality objectives of the business. The function of this position should be carried out from an attitude of helpfulness, patience, and courtesy, while also being resolute concerning adherence to industry standards and Baker Best Practices. The position requires collaboration and feedback to operational and training management. Requirements Dependability - Reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. Physical Dexterity - Job requires a respectable amount of dexterity and physical strength to scale roof tops and other exterior facades to inspect and instruct others regarding job site quality. Minimum Qualifications High School Education 7 years of experience in Exterior Installation Services Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge: Administrative and Clerical - General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, and other office procedures and terminology. Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Technical - Advanced technical skills and understanding of specific methodologies of installation to meet or exceed all manufacturer, industry, and company standards. Skills: Computer/Electronic- Proficient in basic business software applications and email. Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Coaching - Ability to "coach", partnering with on-site personnel to help them strive for, and promote thought processes to achieve excellence in quality. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Essential Functions Manage the daily operations of warranty correction with small crews, to include material acquisition, job/crew oversite, scheduling, and customer communication. Cost effectively handles warranty correction with the interest of the company and customer satisfaction. Provides technical instruction, coaching and teaching of various approved methodologies of install and technique. Collaborates with management to follow-up on warranty deficiencies to ensure specific warranty items discovered are resolved to comply with established standards. Provides feedback, documentation, and reporting as required. Engages customers to assess their satisfaction with service and product. Maintains and pursues knowledge of emerging best practices, standards, applications, and methodologies related to service offerings. Collaborates with all operational and training management to enhance excellence in quality. Physical Demands Climbing Balancing Walking Standing Positioning/moving on roof planes at heights of 3-4 stories Work Environment Mixed job site and office. Job site environment to include outside weather conditions.
