Job Title Civil Engineer Education Bachelor's Degree Location DC US (Primary) Remote (Virtual) - US - US Career Level Professional Category Engineering Salary Grade $0.00 - $0.00 Date Needed By Job Type Full-time Travel 10 - 20% Job Description Required Knowledge and Skills Candidate must have: • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, understand complex issues, maintain good working relations, and meet basic professional performance standards. • Knowledge of the concepts, principles, theories, and methods required to plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain transportation infrastructure. • Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing civil engineering projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. • Ability to identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of information in support of analysis and problem solving and demonstrate sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations. • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and summarize complex issues relating to civil engineering related to the planning, execution, and administration of Federally sponsored transportation infrastructure projects and generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations. 2.
