Working with both internal and external customers to identify and secure the correct parts in a timely and efficient manner. Communicating with customers at the counter and over the phone regarding estimated repair times, costs, and any delays or issues. Collaborating effectively with employees across departments. Reviewing and verifying equipment warranty coverage, including parts and labor. Partnering with manufacturers, vendors, and their warranty departments to ensure proper processing of claims and adherence to guidelines. Assisting with the submission of warranty claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided promptly. Following up on outstanding warranty claims to ensure resolution and reimbursement. Assisting with inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, pricing, and stocking parts in the service area, while entering part numbers into the computer system. Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and promoting safety standards. You'll Need: Customer service skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Computer skills and the ability to learn new software Knowledge of tools and equipment Experience with warranty claims: previous experience in handling warranty claims is preferred We'd Love If You Have: Mechanical aptitude or previous service writing experience. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for most of the shift. Occasionally push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. *Employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a drug-screen and background check.
