This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on high-profile litigation cases, providing comprehensive legal support to our attorneys. Responsibilities: As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will be expected to perform the following duties: 1. Assist attorneys and paralegals with all aspects of litigation including discovery, court filings, and trial preparation. 2. Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and legal correspondence. 3. Conduct legal research and factual investigation. 4. Manage case files and maintain case calendars. 5. Coordinate depositions, mediations, and client meetings. 6. Utilize efiling systems to file and retrieve court documents. 7. Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals. 8. Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures. 9. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 10. Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining attorney calendars. Qualifications: To be considered for the Litigation Legal Assistant position, you must possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant - civil defense or commercial litigation experience preferred. 2. Proficiency in efiling systems and other legal software. 3. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures. 4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 5. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Strong research and analytical skills. 9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
