Distribution Supervisor

Job Summary The Distribution Supervisor will assist the Distribution Manager in various tasks associated with distribution and warehousing of all finished goods. Knowledge | Experience | Skills High School diploma or GED. Three years experience in Injection Molding preferred. General knowledge of Injection Molding and manufacturing operations. Good communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Supervise and assist in daily warehouse operations including: shipping customer orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation. • Maintain storage areas by organizing floor space and recommending improvements. • Keep equipment operating by troubleshooting breakdowns, managing preventative maintenance program and calling for repairs. • Supervise, evaluate, and train employees assigned to the distribution center and any offsite buildings. • Ensure proper scanning of products to maintain accurate inventory and ensure FIFO methods are being followed. • Responsible for effective coordination of quarterly (monthly as needed) inventories and interim cycle counts. • Maintains housekeeping and organization of all warehouse operations according to ISO, TS196493, GMP, NSF, etc. as required. • Accountable for managing warehouse personnel and any off-site warehouse personnel. • Food Security Team Member if name defined in Food Defense Plan.
