This dynamic firm, with a significant global footprint, is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their thriving New York team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a top-performing organization known for its forward-thinking approach and exponential growth in the investment sector.As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in the firm's accounting and finance functions, working closely with the Assistant Controller on crucial financial processes, including consolidated monthly reporting, in-depth variance analysis, and investment performance insights. Key Responsibilities:Manage the month-end close processes, including comprehensive balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.Manage the general ledger with precision, posting journal entries, and ensuring account accuracy.Execute intercompany transactions across multiple entities, maintaining effective oversight of international finance operations.Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives across various business divisions, contributing insights to strategic decision-making.Prepare journal entries, conduct monthly account analyses, and identify trends that drive continuous improvement.Facilitate the annual audit, collaborating with external auditors and preparing supporting documentation to ensure complianceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.4+ years of experience in the financial services sectorExceptional communication and collaboration skillsCPA certification is highly preferred,Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and familiarity with accounting software tools.
