You will be leading a passionate & talented Food & Beverage team to drive excellence by delivering high standards in guest experience & colleague engagement in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing the operation of Grana RestaurantPrepare dailyweekly payroll and scheduleSchedule and conduct bi-monthly departmental meetingsComplete projects delegated from the Assistant Food and Beverage Director in timely mannerMaintain floor presence supporting service staff and the guest experienceMaintain POS systems and update product pricingEnsure maximum level of guest service while maintaining Langham and Forbes standardsHandle guest requestscomplaintsResponsible for inventory and ordering supplies, approve all requisitions to ensure operation is held at par standardsMaintain Langham and Massachusetts Health Department standards for sanitation of all food and beverage production areas, including equipment.Act as lead trainer for all Server and support staff related procedures - motivate and terview and train new colleagues; conduct annual performance reviews for hourly colleagues.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Food Service Management preferredExperience with and good understand of POS systems and F&B Menu knowledgeProficiency using in Microsoft Office Suite, OpenTable, and relevant computer systemsMinimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage leadership in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurantKnowledge and prior experience working in hotel restaurants or room service operations preferredServSafe Alcohol andor TIPS certification preferredKnowledgeable of all MA state food safety requirements and ensures that others adhere to them by monitoring FIFO inventory and visually inspecting food service and consistencyLegally authorized to work in the United StatesFor more information about the property and position, please visit:
