Team Introduction The Procurement Team plays a critical role in the business and is responsible for the strategic design and end-to-end processes involved in the purchase of goods and services in a sustainable and financially viable way, in compliance with business standards. We are responsible for sourcing and onboarding new vendors, supporting the development of key company systems and processes, maintaining a strategic overview of project procurement management activities, and ensuring that purchasing contracts and arrangements are fulfilled in strict accordance with legal requirements, project specifications, and business policies and procedures. Responsibilities - Support Procurement Projects: Collaborate with internal teams to support procurement activities, including assigned projects as well as work to support and improve day to day procurement activities including the sourcing of goods/services and vendor management. - Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, performance metrics, cost-saving opportunities and provide insights for better decision-making. - System & Process Improvements: Assist in the development and implementation of procurement systems and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. - Vendor Communication & Relationship Management: Engage with vendors to ensure clear communication of requirements and timelines, addressing any issues proactively. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, etc.) to support the alignment of procurement strategies and company goals. - Identify & Share Improvement Ideas: Regularly propose process and system improvements based on data analysis and market research. - Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulations. Qualifications Minimum qualifications - Basic understanding of procurement processes and systems. - Ability to develop and manage product strategies, roadmaps, and goals. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Looker or similar) with experience in developing reports and dashboards. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with vendors. - Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus. - Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. - Strong communication skills is critical for success! Must be inquisitive and always seeking to learn. Able to articulate questions, concerns and know when to/not afraid to escalate and ask for help when needed Preferred qualifications - Internship or practical experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles, particularly in a tech-driven or fast-paced company.. - Experience with procurement platforms, marketplaces, and resource management systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and a strong understanding of procurement processes. - Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and improving procurement processes or systems. - Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies for large cross-functional areas. - Advanced analytical skills with experience in metric definition and performance analysis. - Experience in evaluating and applying global market trends to product decisions. - Strong track record of coordinating with international Product R&D teams and promoting cooperative efforts.
