GEICO's Identity Governance team is seeking an Engineer with a passion for Identity and Access Management. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to think out of the box and help drive transformation as we mature our Identity Governance program. The candidate will participate in developing solutions to complex problems and facilitate the implementation of process improvements, therefore must be comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple teams. The candidate will support in proactively ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, stability, protection, and user experience. They must be intellectually curious and have the desire for continuous self-development. As an Engineer, you will: Contribute to project scoping sessions, design, and code development to build scalable and resilient Identity Governance solutions. Build functionality by writing code using modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, JSON, or SQL, and other scripting languages. Support the implementation of Identity and Access Management requirements, such as SOD, RBAC, JIT, etc. Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire project lifecycle. Perform routine operational tasks to ensure availability while maintaining least privilege, privileged access management, JIT, and Zero Trust. Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams based on frameworks such as NIST. Develop and maintain professional level system design, processes, and program documentation for Identity and Access Management. Support a team environment that fosters delivery, collaboration, innovation, diversity, and inclusion. Qualifications Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, .NET, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, and RESTful Web Service. Understanding of IAM concepts such as Role Management, SOD, Privileged Access Management, SSO, RBAC, ABAC, JIT Access, and Zero Trust. Experience with Entra ID, on-premises active directory, and privileged access. Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems. Experience with modern security protocols and products such as Active Directory, SAML, OAuth. Experience in providing user support and maintaining an Identity Management system Excellent understanding of Identity Lifecycle management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience 2+ years of experience in Identity Governance and Access 2+ years of application programming Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience Annual Salary $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
