Account Executive, Membership Sales Department: Ticket Sales Office: Audi Field D.C. United is looking to add a relationship-driven sales professional to our membership sales team as a senior account executive or account executive. The ideal candidate is industrious, competitive, and driven to become a leader in the sports sales industry. The position will be focused on maximizing revenue through direct outbound B2B & B2C outreach. The selected candidate will be expected to set/execute face-to-face appointments on a consistent basis, make outbound sales calls, prospect in addition to working sales events, grassroot events and games. The candidate should have a solid understanding of the sales process with a relationship-focused personality and a proven track record of selling and servicing within the sports industry. Core Responsibilities Include: Meeting and exceeding all weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals while providing a top level of service to all D.C. United fans. Generating new business opportunities primarily focused on FSE products (full season and partial plans) through cold calling, outside appointments, prospecting and stadium tours. As part of the D.C. United sales team, an emphasis is placed on face-to-face meetings to move the sales process forward. Maintaining all touchpoints with clients and prospects within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Executing a minimum of 4 meetings and 500 activities per week. Representing D.C. United in the most positive way on game days, events, and grassroot efforts when interacting with clients and prospects Contributing positively to the D.C. United sales culture. Additional responsibilities as assigned by management. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree Minimum of 1 years of successful sales experience with a professional sports team in a high-volume sales environment. COMPETENCIES (KSAs) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Competitive nature and a contagious, positive attitude. Strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments, and sales. Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry. Must be open to learning throughout sales training process and be a coachable team member Willingness to work nights and weekends. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Adaptability and Resiliency. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. The good faith anticipated base pay range for this role is shown below, and actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, location, and other business and organizational needs. Anticipated pay: $42,500 - $55,000 as a combination of base salary plus commission. All candidates must complete a successful background check. D.C.
